Iraqi Red Crescent Society An independent national humanitarian society that works to reduce the suffering and pain of people without discrimination during the peace and war , natural disasters and non-natural disasters , it is also considered one of the most activist societies in the international movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent.
Iraqi Red Crescent Society announced to increase the displaced families from Nainawa , Salaheddin, Kirkuk , and Deyala governorates to more than (117 000) family, assistant secretary general Mr. Mohammed Al-quzae has commented on this by saying : “ IRCS groups has registered number of displaced families reached to more than (117 000) family till now from different areas of Nainawa , Salaheddin, Kirkuk , and Deyala governorates to different of northern , middle and southern governorates. And he added : ‘ increasing the displaced families searching for saving shelters, Al- quzaea clarify by saying “ IRCS distributed more than ( 41500) food parcels, and more than (800. 000) hot meals , as well as has distributed (25000) food rations dry to more than (106.000) displaced, by clarifying ; “ IRCS groups has distributed milk and diapers and some of the necessary requirements to the displaced families , also IRCS groups presented medical services , first aids in addition to organization psychosocial support workshops to the families and children during organization drawing gallery and plays. Thus IRCS groups are still continuous for distributing food parcels and relief items to t e displaced families.
