Iraqi Red Crescent Society An independent national humanitarian society that works to reduce the suffering and pain of people without discrimination during the peace and war , natural disasters and non-natural disasters , it is also considered one of the most activist societies in the international movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent.
The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has announced about the increasing in the numbers of displaced people to more than (50) displaced family consist of (206) people from Ba`shiqah city have fled to Zulaykan camp in Duhok governorate .
The IRCS teams have received the displaced families and provided them with ready meals, food parcels adding to distribute relief materials .
In the same context, the psychosocial support team of the IRCS have conducted support sessions for the displaced families to alleviate the suffering of the displacement also how to live in such atmospheres, Where as the first aid team have treated more than (22) cases among the displaced people .
The next few days, may witness a waves of displacement from the surroundings areas of Mosul governorate as a result of the difficult humanitarian conditions inside the city .
