Iraqi Red Crescent Society An independent national humanitarian society that works to reduce the suffering and pain of people without discrimination during the peace and war , natural disasters and non-natural disasters , it is also considered one of the most activist societies in the international movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent.
The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has distributed food parcels to more than 460 poor families who are living in the old districts of Mosul.
” The IRCS`s relief teams in Nineveh governorate have distributed more than 460 food parcels to the poor families who are living in the old districts of Mosul, said Mr. Hyder Qassim the relief official in Nineveh governorate.
Qassim has added that the IRCS`s health teams are continuing to receive and provide the consultations and therapeutical and medical services to more than 170 conditions every day at Almansour medical center in the right side of Mosul.
Qassim has also continued that the IRCS `s health teams have targeted six villages in Telkif district by distributing more than 500 health kit for women such as ( towels, medical items, and disinfectants) .
