Iraqi Red Crescent Society An independent national humanitarian society that works to reduce the suffering and pain of people without discrimination during the peace and war , natural disasters and non-natural disasters , it is also considered one of the most activist societies in the international movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent.
IRCS announced to increase the number of displaced families from (Nainawa, Salaheddin, Kirkuk governorates) for more than (113.000) families. Assistant Secretary General has commented on this by saying:” groups of Iraqi Red Crescent Society has registered than (113.000) displaced families from different areas from (Nainawa, Salaheddin, Kirkuk, deyala governorates) to northern governorates and some of southern and middle governorates, and Al-quzaea clarify by saying: “IRCS has distributed more than (40,000) food parcels till now, so number of beneficiaries from the IRCS assistance reached to more than (285. 000) displaced and IRCS are still continuous for distributing relief and food parcels to the displaced families from different of Iraqi governorate.
