Iraqi Red Crescent Society An independent national humanitarian society that works to reduce the suffering and pain of people without discrimination during the peace and war , natural disasters and non-natural disasters , it is also considered one of the most activist societies in the international movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent.
Iraqi Red Crescent Society Announced for distribution food and relief aids to more than (35 000) displaced people in Babel governorate . Where Babel branch staff distributed food and relief aids to more than (35 000 ) displaced people coming from ( Ninawa, Saladdin, Diyala and Kirkuk governorates ), and there are internal displacement from Jurf Alsakhar area within the governorate.
Iraqi Red Crescent teams received the displaced families and distributed them to (Al-kasem district , Al-Midhtah area , Al- Hashemite district , center of Hilla,Al-kefl area, Al-Saddah area , jbellah, and Al-Imam area ) .
After the stability of the displaced families, which reached to (6,859) family which (35000) thousand persons, Iraqi Red Crescent Society teams distributed food parcels and relief items as well as the distribution of infant formula and some of the special needs of women, also the staff branch provided to the displaced families cooking gas , oven , ice and some relief items as well as the distribution of wheelchairs for the disabled. Iraqi Red Crescent teams are still continuing to provide food aid till now.
