Iraqi Red Crescent Society An independent national humanitarian society that works to reduce the suffering and pain of people without discrimination during the peace and war , natural disasters and non-natural disasters , it is also considered one of the most activist societies in the international movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent.
Iraqi Red Crescent Society has been participated in the celebration of Kerbala Day, which erected in Kerbala Park, in pavilion consist of seven tents including sections and units of Kerbala branch. At the celebration IRCS staff explain in details about the work duties of IRCS, and detail explaining about the duties of sections and units , as well as installation two medical detachments, one at the entrance of the park and the second in the middle to give some medical treatment and first aids to the visitors who need it. the staff of IRCS also participated in an exhibition of photograph photos, consist of (70) photos represent the most important of activities of IRCS to provide the humanitarian aid and relief during the disasters and another humanitarian activities.
