Iraqi Red Crescent Society An independent national humanitarian society that works to reduce the suffering and pain of people without discrimination during the peace and war , natural disasters and non-natural disasters , it is also considered one of the most activist societies in the international movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent.
IRCS has been announced to provided health-services and first aids to (6829) visitors coming from Basra walking to Karbala, Basra branch staff of IRCS was setup (10) first aids detachments and tents for the rest of visitors, providing with medical and food items which is distributing on entrances and exits of Basra governorate, furthermore the staff of IRCS has been distributed roaming first aids detachments and car Ambulances to be ready for any emergency case. Number of participants are more than (150) employee and Volunteer. Mentioned that IRCS has put previous plans to receiving the millions that coming to Karbala to visit Imam Al-Hussain ( alayh assalm).
