Iraqi Red Crescent Society An independent national humanitarian society that works to reduce the suffering and pain of people without discrimination during the peace and war , natural disasters and non-natural disasters , it is also considered one of the most activist societies in the international movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent.
IRCS/ Karbala branch declared distribution more than 3000 food parcel to displaced families in Karbala . the distribution targeted more than 3000 displaced family from Tala’fer to Karbala as well as to distribute relief items to families in al-hussaniyat and mosques on the road of karbala and Al-Najaf ,Karbala –baghdad road , Al-Hussainiya sub district , Toreej district , and number of city neighborhood .
thus IRCS teams still distributing food and relief assistance to displaced families till now as well as making survey to those families to know their needs to provide with . that the displaced families especially women and children suffering from difficult psychological conditions , so IRCS teams present psychological support to families and children by presenting entertainment means like plays and drawings and other things that IRCS psychological support teams present
