Iraqi Red Crescent Society An independent national humanitarian society that works to reduce the suffering and pain of people without discrimination during the peace and war , natural disasters and non-natural disasters , it is also considered one of the most activist societies in the international movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent.
IRCS emergency teams continued in reliefing affected families by rain which swept basra governorate . From other side IRCS / Basra branch has sent food , relief , and logistic items to the affected districts and sub districts to the south and east of Basra governorate by the rain and floods and other areas which affected badly .
where the number of affected families reached according to official statistic 100 family , from other side in Al-Zubeer and Safuan , IRCS emergency teams evacuated number of families to the camps ( in Safuan a number of families evacuated to some schools where the number reached 160 . Zubeer district still makes studies about the number of families .
