Iraqi Red Crescent Society An independent national humanitarian society that works to reduce the suffering and pain of people without discrimination during the peace and war , natural disasters and non-natural disasters , it is also considered one of the most activist societies in the international movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent.
IRCS / Thiqar branch has declared organizing MRE campaigns in several areas in the governorate , where the branch staff has delivered MRE lectures in the areas of ( Al- Rasol health centre / hay Al-Shua’la , Amarat Residential area , Al-Dora, Al-Shirqiya Al-Thaniya , Al-Skik ) which belongs to Al-Nasiriya city , the number of beneficiaries (95) , in addition to organize a play that explained the danger of ERW to number of schools ( the number of beneficiaries reached (115) pupil . on the other hand the branch staff has organized carpentry courses to jobless youth to help them to get a job ( the number of beneficiaries reached (20) , gifts have been distributed to participated at the end of the course .
