The Iraqi Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadey receives the head of the International Committee of Red Cross

The Iraq Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadey received in his office today the head of International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Mr.Peter Maurer with the presence of the President of Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) Dr. Yaseen Al-mamori and his deputy. During the meeting there were discussions regarding the efforts of the Iraqi government in the field of human rights, in addition to the Multi-coordination between the two sides at various levels.
The Iraqi Prime Minister expressed his interest to investigate the fate of missing people as the file of missing people considers as one of the important think for Iraqi government, referring at the same time to commitment of Iraqi government to rebuilding the liberated areas from ISIS gangs. Calling the states to contribute in the reconstruction fund of these areas which affected by terrorism.


On the other hand, Mr. Peter Maurer praised on the actions taken by the Iraqi Prime Minister regard the human rights file through saving the lives of civilians despite of going through war with terrorist groups, declaring the readiness of the International Committee of the Red Cross to provide expertise in the field of human rights.
