Iraqi Red Crescent Society An independent national humanitarian society that works to reduce the suffering and pain of people without discrimination during the peace and war , natural disasters and non-natural disasters , it is also considered one of the most activist societies in the international movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent.
The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has announced the distribution of 200 (food and relief rations) and children’s clothes for displaced families in Erbil during the celebration of the World Day of Thalassemia patients.
The ceremony was attended by a number of Government Health Institutions, organizations of Civil Society and another number of officials.
During the ceremony, the participants has praised in their speeches the role that played by the Iraqi Red Crescent in Erbil in providing humanitarian aid to various classes of society, especially the displaced people and those with special needs.
