Iraqi Red Crescent Society An independent national humanitarian society that works to reduce the suffering and pain of people without discrimination during the peace and war , natural disasters and non-natural disasters , it is also considered one of the most activist societies in the international movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent.
The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has announced the distribution of food and relief assistance to more than (1200) displaced families who has returned to their living areas in the right side of Shirqat city after the liberalization operations .
The IRCS teams have distributed more than (1200) food parcels to the families who returned to their areas at Jamila, Al-Qasaba, Ba`aj, Al-Msihley and the center of Shirqat district. After the IRCS teams have conducted a field survey to the areas and recorded the needs of returning families, the IRCS teams have provided food materials to those families, meanwhile the distribution is still continuous in order to target the most possible number of families.
