The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) announced the distribution of more than 250 food parcels and relief materials for the displaced families from Anbar to Ameriyat Al-Fallujah and Salahuddin.
Ahmed Kadhum, the head of Operations Management at IRCS has said “IRCS’s teams received more than 90 displaced families from Joaibah area because of the security situation. IRCS’s teams who deployed in Al-Anbar has harboring families in Al-Salam camp and distributed food and relief assistance to more than 90 families as well as distributed ready meals daily for those families”.
On the other hand, IRCS’s teams in Salahuddin distributed food parcels and blankets to more than 160 displaced families from Anbar to Al-Isaqi camp. As the staff and volunteers of in IRCS there distributed 160 food parcels and relief materials included kitchen kit and blankets (four per family), as well as provided psychosocial support to displaced children through (open Children’s Day) program which includes a variety of events like painting and fun games in order to make them smile and having fun, adding to raise their morale and relieve the psychosocial pressure that they had due to the difficult conditions of displacement.
