The Iraqi Red Crescent: Evacuation of 1,000 families who were trapped in the Al-Asria and Znqurah areas after the Iraqi army provided them with safe corridors form Anbar

The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) announced the evacuation of 1,000 families who were trapped in Al-Asria and Znqurah areas after the Iraqi army provided them with safe corridors form Anbar that located west of Ramadi after the Iraqi army has provided them with safe corridors.
As the relief team of IRCS has record in the past two days the displaced of 1,000 families were trapped in the mentioned areas.
IRCS’s teams in cooperation with the Department of Immigration and Relief Committee in Anbar governorate has distributed ready meals and relief materials, as well as providing some basic needs for women and children.
The relief team has mentioned that there is probably that the process of displacement may continue and that the numbers may increase due to the security situation which is taking place in the city of Ramadi.
