In preparation for the visit of Imam Kadhum (peace be upon him) and in order to provide the better humanitarian services, the Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS)/Baghdad branch has put prior plan to install more than 20 break station for providing medical services and first aid. The stations were distributed in different roads which used by visitors, starting at the main entrances of the capital Baghdad ending at the Holy shrine of Imam Kadhum (peace be upon him).
The stations of Red Crescent has distributed in the following areas: (Nahrawan Station, Rasheed Camp, Kahramanah Square, Al-Wathba Square, Beirut Square, Al-Mustanserya, Haifa Street, Topchi Bridge, Adan Square, Bab Al-Derwaza, inside the Holy shrine of Imam, Al-Neda’a Square, Antar Square, near the hospital of Kadhumya and Mohammed al-Qasim Street, as well as deploying about 10 mobile teams equipped with first aid bags and stretchers to transfer the cases of (fatigue may occurs as a result of high temperatures and walk for long distance) with participation of more than 600 volunteers and member of the IRCS who are all trained to provide first aid relief and work to distribute of medical treatments and disseminate preventive concepts to the visitors in order to reduce the risks.
