The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has announced it had sent first aid and psychosocial support teams from Wasit and Thiqar adding to send (4) ambulance cars to support the IRCS teams in Salahuldin governorate and provide the assistance to the displaced families .
After the arrival of the IRCS teams to Al-Hajaj camp located south of Baiji, where the health teams have treated more than (93) cases and transport some emergency situations to a nearest hospital for treatment .
The psychosocial support teams have organized psychosocial support sessions for children and adults, the number of beneficiaries from psychosocial support services has reached more than (350) people .
It is mentioned that the IRCS has sent more than (20) member and volunteer from Wasit and Thiqar to Salahuldin branch to provide the psychosocial support and health services to the displaced families at Al-Hajaj camp .
