The Iraqi Red Crescent Society distributes (2000) school bags to the displaced students in the Baghdad, Babil, Najaf and Karbala

The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) distributes (2000) school bag with a full stationery to the displaced students in the governorates of Baghdad, Babil, Najaf and Karbala as this distribution cams to alleviate the suffering of the displaced students and to provide them with school supplies.IRCS formed teams to provide a psychological support and register the needs of students.
On the other hand, a cadre from IRCS organized psychological discharge sessions to encourage the students to keep going on studying and to encourage them to overcome the obstacles.
It is worthy to be mentioned that IRCS teams continues to provide humanitarian aid to the displaced families in various regions of Iraq.

An independent national humanitarian society that works to reduce the suffering and pain of people without discrimination during the peace and war , natural disasters and non-natural disasters , it is also considered one of the most activist societies in the international movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent. The work of the society depends on the principle of voluntary work which considered the base in IRCS work , that the voluntary service is embodied the fundamental principles of the Red Cross and Red Crescent international movement which considered volunteers the basic block in the society work , that the voluntary relief doesn’t work for any interest or seek for any profit .
