The Iraqi Red Crescent Society implements a workshop for teaching the sewing art to the widows and vulnerable women in Baghdad.

Iraqi Red Crescent Society / Baghdad branch, announced that the branch organize a workshop for teaching the art of sewing and embroidery for widows and vulnerable women, in Baghdad. In which the staff of the branch implement a workshop to teach the art of sewing and embroidery for the most vulnerable, widows and divorcees women in a number of areas in Baghdad, the main target of this workshop is to enable the participated women to work so as to support their families as well as to develop their skills and capabilities. Adding to what had just mentioned there is gifts (sewing machines and a variety of fabrics) were distributed to distinctive participants in the workshop as well as all providing them with sewing kits while the number of beneficiaries was (40) intern.
The workshop comes to implement the programs of the Iraqi RC to provide assistance to the most vulnerable groups in society in order to raise up the social living standards.
