The Iraqi Red Crescent Society installs medical detachments and organizes blood donation campaigns to get ready to the visit of the tenth of Muharram in Karbala.

Iraqi Red Crescent Society/Karbala branch installs (12) first aid and medical detachment to provide health services in the ceremony of tenth of Muharram visit in Karbala. In which there was 120 trained volunteers equipped with first aid materials to provide treatments, as the detachments were distributed at the entrances and exits of Karbala.

2236The plan begins on the sixth of Muharram and ends on the tenth after the end visit, as there will be (80) employee of Iraqi RC involved adding to the volunteers.

3224In the same context, a cadre of Karbala branch organized, cooperation with Youth Directorate in the governorate, blood donation campaign in order to get ready to visit the tenth of Muharram as part of the preparations that should be taken to provide blood bottles to this event in case of any emergency while the number of donors was (30) people.
The staff also distributed souvenirs to donors after the end of donation process under the supervision of competent staff
