IRCS Organizes (1289) health and awareness workshops in a various governorates of Iraq at 2014

The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) organizes (1289) health and awareness workshops in a various governorates all over Iraq last year 2014, in which the number of the beneficiaries was more than (five and a half million).
The Assistant Secretary General for IRSC Mr. Mohammed Al-Khuzai said that “the health department in IRCS organized (1289) various workshops included (first aid, psychological support, lectures for Communicable Diseases and monitoring of vaccination campaigns).

DSC_0042Al-Khuzai added that “IRCS teams distributed more than 12 first-aid kit after the qualification training finished for the (five and a half million) beneficiaries of workshops”.
He said, The Assistant Secretary General, that “IRCS sent more than (50) incurable diseases cases out of the country for medical treatment, as well as distributed more than 200 wheelchair for peoples with special needs.
It is worthy to be mentioned that the majority of the beneficiaries from the services of IRCS workshops are from the displaced families.
