Iraqi Red Crescent Society An independent national humanitarian society that works to reduce the suffering and pain of people without discrimination during the peace and war , natural disasters and non-natural disasters , it is also considered one of the most activist societies in the international movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent.
Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has announced about the increasing in the number of displaced people of Ramadi and some of its surrounding towns after evacuating them by Iraqi army and provided them with safe ways.
The director of operations at IRCS Ahmed Kadhem said “IRCS’s teams received more than 1620 displaced people whom have been accommodated in (Al-kaser Al-abeadh camp) as well as provided them with aid and food relief”.
Adding that IRCS expects increasing in the number of displaced families from Ramadi and other areas.
