The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has announced the organization of its psychosocial support campaigns to the children of displaced families in Baghdad and a number of governorates .
The psychosocial support teams of IRCS have organized psychosocial support campaigns to the children of displaced families in Baghdad and the governorates of (Karbala,Muthanna,Sulaymaniah, Wasit,Anbar,Karkok and Diyala) .
While the IRCS teams have conducted field visits to the camps in a number of governorates adding to provide psychosocial support lectures also distributing presents to the displaced children in order to bring the joy of Eid to the children and alleviate their suffering also conducting home visits for them to preview their psychosocial and living condition as well as organizing psychosocial discharge sessions for them adding to hold the open day for children program including various activities and games, also providing first aid lectures, spreading health awareness and the necessity for adhering personal hygiene and washing hands to prevent the communicable diseases and prevent its spread between the displaced , the number of beneficiaries from psychosocial support services has reached (3000) thousand child .
