The president of the Iraqi Red Crescent (IRCS) Dr. Yaseen Al-mamori and his Turkish counterpart Mr.Mustafa Ahmed Akar, in the presence of the Turkish ambassador in Iraq, hold press conference in which they reviewed the humanitarian situation in Iraq, and the response of IRCS adding to the cooperation between the two parts in the regard of the Iraqi displaced people.
The president of IRCS Dr.Yaseen Al-mamori said that “the Turkish Red Crescent is an important partner that we proud of its partnership as we are involved in a significant partnership and continuous cooperation. As we did not forget what has presented by Turkish Red Crescent during the previous period. While the IRCS is still continuing to cover the needs of the displaced as the number of beneficiaries from IRCS services was more than 280000 displaced families in various regions of Iraq since the beginning of the events and so far.
The president of Turkish Red Crescent Mustafa Ahmed Akar said that “ both the Turkish and Iraq Red Crescent are linked to a solid partnership at all levels as the Turkey Red Crescent, although to the previous cooperation and presenting a humanitarian assistance, is still ready to cooperate largely”. He also expressed the readiness of Turkish Crescent for more support and assistance to IRCS in various regions of Iraq, noting that his Society is helping Iraqi refugees inside Turkey as well as in inside Iraq by his Iraqi counterpart (IRCS).
