Iraqi Red Crescent Society An independent national humanitarian society that works to reduce the suffering and pain of people without discrimination during the peace and war , natural disasters and non-natural disasters , it is also considered one of the most activist societies in the international movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent.
The Vice President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies Francisco Roca and the Head of Jordanian Red Crescent Dr. Mohammed Al-Hadid have expressed their appreciation, during their visit to one of the displaced camps in Baghdad, the humanitarian efforts of the Iraqi Red Crescent (IRCS) in response to the needs of displaced people and the humanitarian assistance that IRCS provided to them, they have also praised the role of the IRCS volunteers.
The two guests have discussed with the President of IRCS Dr. Yaseen Al-Mamouri the overall humanitarian conditions in Iraq, adding to the support of International Movement components for IRCS regarding relief operations which implemented by the IRCS in various regions of Iraq.
