Urgent response to relief more than 60 poor families living in the outskirts of Baghdad.

After the removal of slums behind AlRasheed market, which is inhabited by poor families south of Baghdad, more than (60)
 families  that are enduring to stay homeless, this has appealed to those families to get a suitable place protected by the winter cold, and responsive
to the appeals, the Iraqi Red Crescent teams intervened urgently and set up a camp for their shelter, and an assessment  was also conducted
to identify their essential needs in order to cover them, adding to the IRCS`s health teams have provided psychosocial support for the affected families.   
The IRCS is continuing to be the first responder to provide support to these families and help them overcome
their difficult economic conditions until they receive adequate housing.
